Life Support Training Program for 47th batch

Basic Life Support Training Program was conducted for the 47^th batch of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna on the 13^th and 14^th of February 2025 at the Faculty premises. The program, conducted by the Resuscitation Club, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna lead by Dr. Upul Hapuarachchi enhanced the knowledge on basic life support of 292 undergraduates from the 47^th batch.

The session consisted of the Basic Life support lecture and the demonstration followed by skills stations, where each student received an opportunity to get a hands-on experience. The session concluded with the final remarks which included a valuable take home message.

Resource personnel included Ameesha Ehelamalpe, Dilushi Ratnayake, Tharushie Karunatilleke, Chandali Karunaratne, Osada Dissanayake, Mithum Senaratne, Navod Jayasuriya, Hansi Pathirana, Thamari Wickramanayake from the 43^rd Batch,  Raveen Hewage, Ashen Perera, Anushma Kulathunga, Thimantha Wickramasinghe, Thisuri Kaveesha, Chandrabanu Niunhella, Shehan Jayawardane, Kavishka Ranathunga from the 44^th Batch,  Mileni Tissera, Oshada Rajapaksha, Supuni Upeksha, Kaveetha Palliyaguruge, Lalithya Lakmali, Thiruni Perera, Nethra Nakandala, Dilusha Ranathunga, Supun Ranaraja, Methma Perera, Dinuli Basnayaka, Eranda Lakshika from the 45^th Batch, Jathya Vidudew, Ashidu Sampath, Sithira Sathnidu, Amandi Perera, Thiyum Mihiran, Heshani Weerawansha from the 46^th Batch.
