Undergraduate Teaching

The undergraduates begin their Pathology Course in the 3rd year and complete in the 4th year. The undergraduate course includes General and Systemic Pathology, Haematology and Chemical Pathology. Teaching learning activities include lectures, tutorials, small group discussions, one month clinical pathology appointment and histopathology, and clinical pathology practical classes

The Department of Pathology has a Museum for the students to study the macroscopy of pathological processes. It has more than 300 mounted specimens. Computer assisted learning material are also available in the museum with 5 computers for the students to access the data base on the museum specimens.
