Pathfinders Journal

With the aim to share and disseminate new knowledge, the Department of Pathology holds a Journal Club once a month and a monthly CE/CPD programme targeting academics, all the categories of non-academic staff, and postgraduate trainees. Presenters include academic staff members, postgraduate trainees, experts, and demonstrators, and the topics of the presentations cover latest research and developments in diagnostics, and healthcare, disease updates, healthcare quality, standards, accreditation, quality management, and safety. The abstracts from the talks are collected in a journal called Pathfinders Journal and published as an e journal. It is accessible through the Department website. The editorial board of the Journal includes Dr. Thusharie Liyanage, Dr. T.W. Wijiesiri, Ms. W.G. Dinushi and Ms. P.V. Vihanga Ranmini. The journal will be published every month.
