Faculty Guest Rooms
Faculty of Medicine Guest Rooms. There are 10 Faculty Guest Rooms located within the Faculty premises available for elective students. Reservation can be made with the prior permission of the Dean. Please note that no food will be provided and students have to make their own arrangements for food. There are plenty of restaurants and eating places outside the premises.
Room facilities: single or double bed, table and chair, easy chair, cupboard, towel rack, bed covering, pillow with a pillow case. Cooking facilities: a shared pantry is available for preparing tea or a simple meal. Social: the building has a common sitting area with a sofa, chairs and a television. Wash rooms: there are 3 common toilets and 3 bathrooms for the use of guests.Washing: a washing machine is available for common use.
Foreign students are required to pay USD 7 per student per day which includes water and electricity cost. A refundable deposit of USD 20 should be deposited and this will be refunded at the end of stay after necessary deductions for damages, if any.
Rules and Regulations
Students are free to enter and leave the premises at any time of the day. Necessary entry keys will be provided. Students need to lock the main door after entry to prevent people entering the common area. Students are expected to behave in an acceptable manner in guest rooms and within the Faculty premises. Faculty administration or security cannot take the responsibility for the safety of cash or other valuables and students are expected to safeguard their valuables.
