Information Technology Unit (ITU) provides overall information technology related services to the Faculty. More than one thousand users are gaining services through the Unit. The ITU is managing the Faculty network infrastructure (it has been spread through 15 departments and all units of the Faculty), Faculty web Site, web site of the ethical review committee, Learning Management System, Elective Student Registration System, Management Information System, Proxy server, WiFi Server, Virus Guard Server and other several facilities.
Permanent academic staff member, who attached to the other department, is holding the head of the Unit, programmer cum system analyst and data entry operator are working as permanent staff members. Temporary demonstrator is covering assistant network manager duties. Presently two NITA training students are helping us to provide the above services to the Faculty.
