Miss Sinali Kumarasinghe a medical student of 40th batch of Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna, has been selected for the Asian University Online Rapid Chess Tournament 2021.
She was selected to this competition by participating in the Inter-university selection trial which was held on 13th & 14th August 2021. Total of 32 players from eight Universities participated in the women’s event, in which she got 4th place.
On behalf of the Sports Club of Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna while congratulating Miss Sinali Kumarasinghe for the great achievement, I greatly appreciate her attitude of continuing extracurricular activities during this pandemic period.
