The blood donation campaign organized by the Spiritual and Religious Practices Subcommittee of the Faculty Cultural Centre was successfully held on 16th November 2022, at the Lobby of Auditorium, Faculty of Medicine. It was really a momentous day for the faculty and we were able to exceed the targeted pints of blood via collecting 75 pints of blood. Though more than 101 participants came, the blood collection had to be restricted to limited number due to the shortage of blood bags and other necessary reagent. To make this event more fruitful, the support provided by students, academics ,non-academics of FOM, UOR, and Karapitiya blood bank, is unforgettable and we thank and appreciate their sincere contribution to the event’s success.
