First place in the inter faculty competition of  “Varsity Battles- Capital Market Quiz Competition”

Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of University of Ruhuna conducted ‘Varsity Battles’ Competition- 2023 with the collaboration of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) on 03rd of August 2023 at the Professor Ranaweera Banda Auditorium of University of Ruhuna. Students’ teams of the faculties battled under the seven rounds.

At the end of all rounds, the students’ team of the Faculty of Medicine won the title of ‘Winner’ with Rs. 75, 000 cash prize and were selected to the Inter-University competition.

The students who represented the team were (from Right to Left) Mr. N. F. Abdhullah (43rd Batch), Mr. Thisaru Nivodh Kuruwitaarachchi (45th Batch), Mr. K.G. Ushan Idusa Hasaranga (45th Batch) and Mr. Navishka Thatasha Nanayakkara (45th Batch).
